Jordan Bloom is a movement educator and yoga teacher, trained in biomechanics, posture, mobility and the treatment of movement dysfunction. Jordan has also studied extensively in philosophy, healthy living and wellness. Based in the US, but originally from South Africa, movement has been been integral to Jordan’s life, whether through sports, yoga, gymnastics, weightlifting, hiking or cross country skiing.
Jordan is an internationally renowned teacher filled with a passion to share knowledge and information on how to reclaim and maintain our innate birthright of living fully, self empowered and pain free. He travels globally, educating a wide variety of students and professionals about movement, health and skillful living. For the last fifteen years, he has been teaching classes, workshops and trainings to students worldwide.
Jordan brings knowledge, vitality and experience to his trainings, drawing on his extensive and continuing education in yoga philosophy and asana, functional and evolutionary anatomy, biomechanics, mobility, strength training and healthy living. Jordan’s teaching has a two pronged approach: to learn from all the great traditions and knowledge of the past, while also embracing the opportunities of empowerment, self-reliance and self-care that are available to us in the 21st century, unlike any other time in human history.
Jordan is a Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 500 and RYS 200 & 300), a Certified MovNat Level II Instructor, has completed multiple CrossFit courses, is a Crossfit Movement & Mobility and Gymnastics coach, and has trained in the Gokhale Method, among others.
